Howard R. Baron is the President of the Baron Companies, which is comprised of Baron & Company, P.C. (Accounting/CPA Firm) Baron Financial Services, Inc. (investment management and financial planning) and Baron Payroll Services Inc. With over 30 years of experience, Howard has learned that embracing diversity has been the key to his success. Earning a JD from Woodrow Wilson College and being certified to provide Life and Health Insurance for clients, the Baron Companies have become a "one stop shop" for a broad range of financial services. The newest area of focus for Howard is Parent Care. As a Parent Care Specialist, Howard is assisting families with aging parents, helping them to plan accordingly to avoid the potential financial and emotional strains on both parties.
Running a "green" firm seems like an oxymoron, but Howard anticipates 2008 being a completely paperless tax season. Utilizing the services of one of the most secured data centers in the world and their document presentation capabilities, Howard is able to receive a client’s data, process that data and return to them a completed tax return via a personalized web portal. With everyone thinking of ways to reduce their carbon footprint Howard has become an environmental innovator in the accounting arena. His "green" technology was trumpeted in an article posted on Forbes.com, Market Watch and Yahoo! Finance. Howard has also published an article for Investors Alley and was quoted in Practical Accountant magazine.
Howard earned his accounting degree from the University of Georgia in 1977 and he holds a Series 65 license through the North American Securities Administration Association. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor in Georgia and Florida.
Married for 14 years to his wife Barbara, Howard is the father of three Alana, Elisha and Michael and manages his business around the importance of family. "I consider my children and their happiness, the greatest accomplishment of my life."
