The services we provide fall into two broad areas: Investment Advisory Services and Financial Planning. As Financial Planners, we take you through the process of establishing financial goals and implementing strategies to meet these goals. As your Investment Advisors, we assume or delegate discretionary investment authority of your assets in key asset classes.

Every investment we make and every plan we implement with your money is based on logic that comes from two sources: What we know and what you want.

What we know is grounded in our credentials, our years of experience, our continuing education, and our commitment to your satisfaction. But what about what you want? And how do we both know what you want? To find out, we guide you through a series of questions - philosophical and practical, general and specific.

Our questions are probing and comprehensive. But we don't just ask them; we explain what the answers will mean - realistically. That's because with realistic expectations you can avoid worry and plan carefully for financial goals that you can accept and achieve.

Not just services, but service . . .

At Baron Financial Services we work hard to uphold our services with service.

The industry average for generating quarterly reports at the end of the quarter is about four weeks; we generally have our reports mailed out within two weeks.

When we sell out of a mutual fund, we typically send a letter to our clients explaining our rationale, just so they'll know - even though it's not required.

We are fee-only advisors and have no financial motives to alter successful portfolios for the sake of generating commissions.

When our clients need funds transferred for a certain expenditure, they know we will act on their request in a timely manner.

We strive to be accessible, and it's our policy to return calls promptly.

When you have questions, we don't talk over you or down to you. We put our answers in language you understand based on your current familiarity with financial terms and concepts.

If you need something that we think someone else can do better, we'll put you in touch with that business or service.

You can learn more about our personalized approach by reading about each of the services we offer.

Investment Planning

Our goal as your investment advisor is to help you define realistic goals and then structure your portfolio to meet them. The first step is one-on-one. We try to find out as much about you as possible: What makes you tick, personally and socially? Are there any businesses that you would not want to invest in? What kind of time horizon do you want to work within? Do you have a short-term need? A long-term goal? Do you need a fixed income? What kind of risk can you tolerate? Your answers to these and other questions establish clear guidelines to work within and specific goals to work toward.

These specific questions and answers allow us to allocate your assets as

effectively as possible across the major asset classes - equities, real estate, cash and fixed income. Asset allocation is important because it is the primary determinant of the overall performance of your investments.

Once we've established your portfolio, your personal investment advisory team follows it closely and reviews it regularly. As an added precaution, we check all transactions daily to make sure they conform to our tax sensitive strategies for repositioning assets. Every quarter when we generate your quarterly review, we invite you to go over with us any questions or concerns you may have, either in person or by phone. Every three to five years, for optimum productivity, we like to repeat our comprehensive interview process with you to re-evaluate your risk profile and time horizon.

We want to be as responsive to changes in your financial situation as we are to changes in market conditions.

Financial Planning

Do you want to buy a house? Send your kids to college? Plan for retirement? Protect your business? Provide for loved ones after you're gone? How about "all of the above"?

The financial planning process is designed to determine your life goals and meet them in the most sensible way possible - managing and monitoring the areas that affect your personal finances - your estate, taxes, investments, insurance, savings, etc. All should be coordinated with your goals in mind.

Baron Financial Services has the expertise and experience necessary to cut through the complicated details of these issues and offer sound advice. We can help you come up with a plan for your unique situation and needs. It's all about providing direction and meaning to your financial decisions.
